Proteros had a key goal for 2024:
increase their brand presence
Proteros set out with a vision of elevating their profile within the life science and drug discovery industry and communities. We supported this by orchestrating a mix of paid and organic social media strategies. In one year, we grew Proteros’ audience by 4,500+ new followers, reaching 9,000+ accounts. Achieving a remarkable 50% growth.
We always encourage our clients to utilise both paid and organic in their growth strategy for maximum impact. The results of this complementary pairing speak for themselves.
Our strategy involved creation of consistent evergreen content on their LinkedIn page. This included a mix of posts focusing on their team, events, publications, and services. Through this carefully balanced range of content and post cadence, we saw huge growth and an explosion in engagement. This included 34,920 page views, across 12,660 unique visitors. The content itself achieved 6.8% average post engagement, and more than 3,000 post reactions.
Working together, we sustained post cadence, strengthened audience relationships, and drove measurable engagement. We helped present the findings of the importance of both paid and organic social media content to senior stakeholders and founders at Proteros.
Since its launch in March 2024, their LinkedIn newsletter has grown to 3,107 subscribers. This represents one-third of their current total company page followers. This growth reflects the newsletter’s effectiveness in attracting and engaging their professional community.

LinkedIn paid campaign
Since the beginning of 2024, our LinkedIn paid campaign has been achieving serious results. Generating 1,109,246 ad impressions, 11,166 engagements, 3,182 website clicks, and 490+ followers, it helped prove the worth of social media to key stakeholders. As well, it smashed the agreed KPIs and goals set with the Proteros team in our kick-off meeting.
Newsletter Performance on HubSpot
2024 also saw us launch Proteros’ monthly email newsletter. This channel reached an audience of 70,198 contacts over 10 newsletters. We were able to maintain a low unsubscribe rate of 0.68% and achieved an average impressive click-through rate of 5.4% (above the 2.4% CTR industry benchmark). This is proof that their audience finds the content valuable and engaging.
These results emphasise how effective our targeted approach has been in driving engagement and maintaining a highly engaged subscriber base.
